Support LAFH staff with Homeless Connect Day Shift 1
Volunteers will support LAFH staff with one of the following tasks: greeting attendees and guiding them through the various vendors and stations that are available at the event, handing out in-kind supplies from the LAFH table, this could include various items like backpacks, hygiene items, PPE gear, clothing, etc., setting up and/or breaking down the event tables and tents, and engaging with attendees while they wait in line for services, any other small tasks needed by staff (e.g. as a runner). Upon arrival, you will check in with an LAFH staff member who will give you your assignment for the day. YOUR IMPACT: Provide quality service by handing out essentials like socks, clothes, hygienic products, and food to those who may not otherwise have access to them. You can also help to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can gather and connect.
