GIft Items for the Holidays with Covenant House of California

Covenant House of California believes that no young person deserves to be homeless; that every young person in California deserves shelter, food, clothing, education, and most importantly, to be loved. Donations needed for the children of their youth. Items include: Boys and Girls underwear and socks from ages 4-10 yrs. Hair supplies for girls. Educational toys for infants 1-4 yrs. Dolls for girls. Trucks or activity toys for boys. Donations will be distributed to our alumni and their children for the holidays. Gifts are best unwrapped. Feel free to call them to arrange a pick up or drop off. Gift Toys and Essentials to Patients at Harbor UCLA Pediatrics for the Holidays

The Department of Pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center cares for underserved families. Many of which suffer economic hardships and even more so during the pandemic. Therefore, every year they provide their outpatient clinic with toys and essentials (socks, clothes, blankets, etc.) to give to families during the holidays. The Fair Oaks Team is made up of the Manufacturing Program and the Administrative Departments. AbilityFirst Manufacturing Program provides meaningful job training and employment for adults who have disabilities. In addition to offering a range of manufacturing services for business (ranging from assembly to powder coating) the program produces hole punches for sale to departments of the federal government. The program is based in Pasadena. The AbilityFirst Admin. Office team includes the agency’s administrative departments that support all their programs and activities: Accounting/Finance, Communications, Executive and Operating Offices, Development, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Safety.
