Donate Needed Thanksgiving Food Items to Big Sunday’s Thanksgiving Stuffing Event

Did you know that each month, all year, Big Sunday hosts a food drive? It's called the End of the Month Club and it helps hungry and grateful people at nonprofits and schools throughout Los Angeles. In Novemberember, we are collecting thousands of Thanksgiving Food Items (nonperishable items, please) for dozens of local nonprofit organizations that assist hungry individuals and families. Sorting coincides with their 8th Annual Thanksgiving Stuffing Event from 9 am -12 pm. Food can be delivered starting November 1 through November 27. Coming to the Thanksgiving Stuffing? Awesome! Please feel free to bring your donations with you on November 27. Can’t shop? No prob! Big Sunday also accepts money so we can shop for you! Help Seniors in South Bay Village

Help seniors remain at home by providing community and services! Volunteers help South Bay Village Seniors in the following areas: Transportation: Drive Members to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, hair appointments, and social activities Errands: Grocery shop for members, take and drop off donations to charities or the library Handyman: Minor home repairs Computer/Electronic Support: Set up email, download photos, install software, provide training for basic technology Light Yard work/Gardening: Watering, weeding Light Chores: Changing light bulbs, vacuuming, etc. Friendly Visits: Take walks, play cards or board games, watch a movie, etc. Also help out in their office: making phone calls, stuffing envelopes, covering the office phones, or helping plan events! As a Volunteer, YOU Decemberide what you want to do and how often. Each assignment lasts 1 to 2 hours. If interested, please call them at 424-271-2304. Volunteers must be at least 16.

Call us biased, but you haven't experienced Thanksgiving until you've come to Big Sunday's Annual Thanksgiving Stuffing event! And we want to make sure everyone gets to celebrate Thanksgiving! So, each year, nice people from all over town join us as we fill bags with delicious holiday food for thousands of hungry and grateful people.
