Donate Requested Items to Exceptional Children’s Foundation

Aside from monetary donations, there are other ways to give to Exceptional Children’s Foundation. 1. Furniture. ECF will consider donations of furniture that can be used by clients in their residential program or used by staff at their program sites. Due to storage limitations, they cannot accept furniture that is not immediately needed by clients or staff. ECF staff cannot provide transportation for these items. 2. Clothing. ECF generally accepts new clothing for infants, children and adults. Gently used clothing is considered on an individual basis. 3. Tickets. They accept tickets for cultural, sports and other community events. 4. Technology. ECF accepts contributions of technology only when they comply with theie existing network requirements and theie staff or client needs. ECF do not accept obsolete or noncompliant technology, or items that are missing necessary components. Before accepting a gift of technology, it must first be reviewed and approved by their IT Administrator. 5. Holiday Gifts. Gifts intended for holiday giving must be new and wrapped in their original packaging. They must be age-appropriate and aligned with their clients’ recreational and educational needs. ECF accepts donations of store gift cards, which may be used as holiday gifts for clients or raffle items or to help offset the cost of producing their fundraising events. Every year, Union Station Homeless Services, holds an annual holiday gift drive to collect toys, books, socks, and gift cards to provide holiday cheer to all our clients living in their housing sites. They could use the community's support in collecting holiday gifts for all their residents. All donations can be accepted at their Admin Office (825 E. Volunteer or Donate for United Station Homeless Services’ Adopt-A-Meal Program

Union Station Homeless Services relies on the support of volunteer groups to provide daily home-cooked meals to shelter residents and community members in need. If your family, corporation, or civic group would like to cook or donate a meal at one of their shelters, consider sponsoring an Adopt-a-Meal! You can cook at home, use one of their kitchens, buy food from a restaurant and drop it off at their location, donate ingredients, or even donate a gift card to Smart and Final. There are so many ways to help! Volunteers must be 13 years old to participate with a chaperone or 16 years old to participate without one.
