Alexandria House is a transitional home for women and children located in Los Angeles, California. Since 1996, they have provided safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelters to economic stability and permanent housing. Work alongside the main office staff with reinitiating the acceptance of gently used items for the La Tiendita (Thrift Store) and Data entry, filing and sorting as the ever growing needs of the organization and community. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer in the kitchen with a chaperone and 16 to volunteer without one.
