Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has worked to mobilize resources in the community to alleviate hunger. Immanuel Presbyterian Church - Currently, more than 2,500 families come through Immanuel's doors every week to get life sustaining food and supplies from their pantry. What You'll be Doing: Greeting clients, packing food bags, and giving out food to clients. Please note: This is a client-choice pantry where clients pick their own food and volunteers place the food inside the clients' bags as they walk by. Please refer to volunteer guidelines, parking information and dress code on sign-up. Volunteers must be 18+ to participate. No court ordered volunteers.
