Celebrate D?a de los Muertos with Self Help Graphics & Art

Self Help Graphics & Art proudly presents its 47th Annual D?a de los Muertos virtual season. This year?۪s D?a de los Muertos Celebration will be held virtually on Sunday, November 1 at 4:00 p.m. on SHG?۪s YouTube channel, with live performances curated by The Paramount. Due to the pandemic, the D?a de los Muertos Celebration is part of a month-long season of virtual programs and workshops, beginning with the opening of the Ofrendas 2020 exhibition on (UPDATE!) Assemble Care Packages at Home with Operation Gratitude

During this global pandemic, Operation Gratitude will continue to meet the ever-changing needs of our care package recipients. All of Operation Gratitude's volunteerism is virtual due to the current coronavirus crisis. You can participate in all of their projects at your own home and send them to Operation Gratitude (9409 Owensmouth Avenue Chatsworth, CA 91311)! Their #VirtualVolunteerism campaign will allow every American the opportunity to support Deployed Troops, National Guardsmen, First Responders, and Emergency Medical Personnel on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Raise Awareness and Virtually Walk the Purple Carpet for Cystic Fibrosis

This year LA's Finest Walk the Purple Carpet will be held virtually. They will be collaborating with Dallas Finest and collectively raising awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Their goal is to raise $65,000 per chapter. To protect the health and well-being of the cystic fibrosis community and CF Foundation staff during the COVID-19 outbreak, the cystic fibrosis community is finding new ways to come together through virtual experiences. Help Out at the Virtual Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency

Orange County's Virtual Walk Day is all about celebrating the impact that the IDF community can have on the individuals affected by primary immunodeficiency (PI). The Immune Deficiency Foundation improves the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life of people affected by primary immunodeficiency through fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education, and research. It doesn't matter where you are located, you can all walk and raise awareness for those who need it most. While you walk in the safety and comfort of your own neighborhood on Saturday, November 14, don't forget to take pictures and post on social media. You can even film yourself on Facebook Live to celebrate your successes. Remember to tag then on Facebook (@walkforpi) and Instagram (@idfcommunity). They can't wait to see you #StridewithIDFpride! ResisterHood LA's 4th annual menstrual FLOWvember period kit party is going virtual! Period products are one of the most requested but least donated items for people experiencing homelessness. For their 4th annual menstrual FLOWvember event, they're raising money to build 2000 hygiene kits with a special focus on period poverty. Join them online on Sunday, November 15th to build hygiene kits, write notes of encouragement for recipients, and hear from speakers about how everyone can can advocate for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.Volunteers will pick-up supplies via no-contact drive-thru and build their hygiene kits at home while participating in their online FLOWvember event!
