| Christmas, Christmas & Hanukkah | November 2, 2018

Camp TLC  is collecting toys and donations to help support their Camp LAkota Holiday Party. This is their largest party and strives to give the Wounded Knee School District (#4 poorest community in America) a special holiday. The officially reported poverty rate for American Indians living on Pine Ridge is 53.75%. The United States average is 15.6%. Two of the five “poorest communities in America” are located on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Last year, they surprised the school with gifts, this year if they are to raise enough funds, will host a Holiday Carnival for the families and their children. They are looking for donations of toys and monetary donations to help make this day special for the youth on Pine Ridge. If interested in helping, please contact 917.363.5154.
